A 1 series with stretched legs, entry level BMW off-roading.
It has to be said that despite the BMW X1's name tag it looks and feels more like a 3 than a 1 series.
Better looking than the standard 1 series and more frugal than most of its rivals.
Choice of either front wheel drive or, like the name suggests, 4 wheel drive.
