Fords mondeo sets its sights on the executive arena
The mondeo was always noted for being a good car, until now, this version offers more luxury, better comfort and brings a certain style not seen from this model before.
Looking around you'll notice it has gained a few pounds, this is no bad thing as it allows for a better ride for its passengers as well as providing more space. A decent drive and a smooth ride make it effortless on longer journeys.
Equipment levels are good and engine options include 1.8 and 2.0 petrols aswell as a V6. Diesel variants are attractive due to economy but early models can be noisy.
A good safe, reliable family/executive car that is let down only by its dull image and common feel.
